Cover Design

Point Magazine is a mock publication that reviews, critiques and responds to visual communication design of the past, present and future. The cover image for the first issue ‘Typography in Context’ shows the golden ratio commonly used in biblical texts during the Middle Ages. This grid structure as well as the Gutenberg Printing Press represents one of the first historical instances of graphic design. To reinforce the theme, this grid structure is used throughout the publication.
