This article is part of a class publication exploring the topic ‘automobiles’. Jeewon Kim and I researched the relationships between people and the places used for storing cars. The art direction and text aimed to explore and propose ideas for ‘reclaiming’ dormant, empty carparks as active places. The photography is a juxtaposition of the human in a technological world. In the publication, the text and image interaction show the tension between positive and negative space, mirroring those found in reality.
